*Of all the "designs and interfaces" categories, I can't believe they don't have "book cover."*
This is a poster design I did for my illustration final for journalist Jeannette Walls' memoir "The Glass Castle," which I highly recommend.
It's about how she grew up in varying degrees of poverty for most of her childhood not because her highly intelligent and talented parents couldn't find work, but because they completely refused to conform or follow through with pretty much anything if they didn't feel like it. It's a really good story about trust and family, and about how many times you can forgive someone before you have to wash your hands of them (something I, sadly, know plenty about).
I might upload some of my other projects. I just put this up because it's the one I'm proudest of.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThe concept for this seems to be just perfect. I actually think that the concept that you have here is spectacular as well as original but it falls a bit short of the mark. While I do commend your effort to do this by hand, you could have done a bit of a better job at it. Do you know how to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop? Those programs could be quite useful in painting a beautiful image out of your drawings here. And some of the text that you have is rather unreadable from a distance. I think it's a decent job personally.
