The ABCs of the '80s

Something I'm finding so ironic nowadays is how 1980s music and styles is making a comeback after we spent the last 20 years trying to kill it off. Nevertheless, despite having been born in the 90s, I can see that the 80s was a charming decade and will always be loved.

This is an art project for my typography class, with each letter of the alphabet representing a different pop culture aspects of the '80s. Some are obvious, others are a bit of a stretch, and I thoroughly regret leaving out some. They are as follows:

W- The destruction of the Berlin Wall
X- Optimus Prime (he died for your sins!)
Y- Ferris Bueller
Z- The light cycle from Tron
